We are two siblings from ATRA, each with a hand in art and a heart in heritage. Through embroidery and painting, we bring the stories of our Assyrian culture to life.

Our Story
Where It All Began
As a young guy, I was passionate about drawing and dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist.
A New Path in Color
After becoming a refugee, I could no longer work as a tattoo artist. But I didn’t stop. I picked up a paintbrush and started learning oil painting. Art became my way to heal and grow.
Dreams in Ink
I became a tattoo artist and turned my passion into a profession. For three years, I brought people’s stories to life through ink. It was more than a craft—it was a connection.
Sculpting My Heritage
Later, I trained in sculpture and created my first big piece—“Nabu,” a symbol of wisdom. Through sculpture, I tell stories of identity and history.
My First Visit to an Ancient Place
This was my first time visiting an ancient place. When I stood in front of the stones, I felt something special. I thought about the people who lived there a long time ago—my ancestors. It made me feel closer to my roots. I started to understand that the past is still with us, in our culture, in our stories, and even in the art we make today.
Telling Stories with Thread
Embroidery is more than just making something pretty. When I sit and sew, I feel calm and focused. I like to imagine stories while I work. Sometimes, I think about my culture and where I come from. It feels like I’m connecting the past and the present with every stitch I make.
